Get to Know Dr. Johana Cobo
Dr. Cobo began her career as a dentist in 2019. She strives to make her patients comfortable in a welcoming environment.
Raised in Cuba, Dr. Cobo and her family relocated to Miami when she was 16 years old. She loves how those in the community have come together to help each other and offer their support in times of need. When not in the office, Dr. Cobo loves the outdoors, riding her bicycle, and going to the beach with her family.
Dr. Cobo is available at both our Kissimmee dental office and our Orlando dental office.
Dr. Cobo is proud to participate in Free Dentistry Day.
Once a year, dental professionals offer dental treatments, including
restorations, cleaning, and extractions at no cost to the patient.

Distinctions
- She has always been passionate about educating the Hispanic community on dental health. Throughout her time in dental school, she was an active member of the Hispanic Dental Association and eventually rose to the position of school chapter president.
Advanced Training & Continuing Education
- After dental school, Dr. Cobo completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in affiliation with NYU Langone Hospitals.
In her year-long residency, she honed her expertise as a general dentist, gaining proficiency in various areas of dentistry such as cosmetic procedures, molar root canal treatments, prosthetics, and implant restorations.
