Omar Ata, DDS

Dr. Omar Ata graduated from the University of Illinois Circle Campus with honors in 1976 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In 1981 he graduated from the Illinois College of Dentistry, where he remained on the faculty as clinical instructor in several departments including Periodontal and Comprehensive Dental Care and had a private practice. He was nominated for the “Golden Apple” for Teacher of the Year in 1984.

Dr. Ata began private practice in Osceola County in 1984 and Orange County in 1999.Dr. Ata is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association,Orange County Dental Society, and the Arab American Medical Association.

Dr. Ata continues to keep himself and his staff abreast of the latest dental technology and innovations by attending continuing education classes offered by the various dental associations, the Pankey Institute, Cad Cam Computerized Dentistry, Kodak Practice Works and Trophy Digital Radiography.
